Yay, finally the mid term break is here... although it has just started, it's like the plan of the week is already up! busy studying for most of the time, cause i promise myself the honeymoon period (yr1) is over...

Okay, today the toilets upgrading started for my home... The sedule for today was to hack the whole place into something which I cannot recognise... So to avoid the noise, I left home early to have breakfast at long john!!

Bought Straits time n manage to stay in Long john from 8+am to 11+am!! not bad, interesting stuff I read in the newspaper... Then I saw this "life science job booast, more in The Business Time" so I decided to check it out...

Left bedok interchange and took 26 all the way to toa payoh... Seems like there are really alot of jobless ppl around!! quite crowded... So I roamed the whole TPY area and settled in the Lib to kill more time (meeting a fren at 2.30pm). Then I saw the business time but somehow... I keep thinking that today ain't Monday... so I never read it... Instead I went to buy and found it pretty useless to me... 85cents gone T.T

btw, go look for "The naked woman", a scientific research book about the "best evolved body" as described in it. Caution: Do read it in a scientific point of view plz...

Then met up my fren at er... Raffles... Felt SUPER UNDERDRESSED, was in my berm n slippers lah... So quickly went to Lau pa sat for lunch... 3pm liaoz...

Wasn't sure on where to go... so haha, I bought up my street directory!!! stun right?? hahaha, then we decided that we anyhow flip to a page and then we go there... Er... its JURONG... and so we decided to go to Science center... kekeke, chance to see the T-Rex!~

By the time we got there... 4.30pm le... they close at 6pm and the counter told us that we wouldnt be able to finish both the T-rex show and the science exhibitions, disappointed, anyhow we went for the sci exhibits then...

Wha... Lots of pri sch kids... NOISY... but very cute! we were like predestrain in the exhibits lahz and they were the vechicles... run here n there... ZZiiiuuuummmm

Did I mention how science center has changed??? you guys should check it out... bring kids there... there's this super mini fantasy island kinda playground for the kids loh, very nice! I too old to play... T.T

Then we go thru those funny exhibits, the digistars show then 6pm le... kena chased out by the security... And there's more funny stuff outside the building... like the big size chess set...

So we had dinner and went back home...

Checked out the temp toilets downstairs... COLD...

I believe you all must have came across interviews or surveys on the media asking females what kind of guys they like, ie. what characteristics etc. And so, those loyalty lahz, honest lahz, faithful lahz, sensitive lahz all come out and of course, good looking and rich are always been viewed as bonus stuff....

So, despo guys reading all those men magazines will always retain a hope that says, "oh, this is all it takes to win a beautiful woman with devilish body 's heart." And so, they believe that one day all the good stuff will happened...

But hello, I'm sorry but to break this fantasy, whatever answers that were printed in the press I view them as incomplete... True that those traits are things that the girls are looking for, but its the man WHOM SHE LIKES WITH THESE TRAITS that will attract her...

Not just any guy, but the guy she likes...

Let do a reasoning experiment: compare a guy with all these traits but the girl doesnt find him attractive with another guy with just 1 or 2 good points who the girl favours, its so obvious who the girl choose right??

So what's the conclusion?

Simply, you think you have all the good traits but that will never get you far. The determining factor is how the girl thinks about you. No matter how good you are, if the girl feels nothing, then there are a hundreds and millions of reasons they will come up with. Here are a few legendary ones... This will be my busiest month I guess... I'm not going out, I'm not doing much leisure stuff...

4th Dimension

I was told by 1 of my friend that I have being lazy and didn't blog for like 1+ week, so here I am on a lazy Monday morning typing out something quite abstract: THE 4TH DIMENSION...

I was reading this book call Flatland, which talks about dimensions... (For academic purpose of cos, those ppl who knw me well knw I seldom read books). Was surprised with the creative way of writing but anyway, it helps me to understand dimensions better. Of course, the book is only able to talk up till the 3rd dimension, or in fact, in my own opinion, not even Einstein who said Time being the 4th dimension can imagine how a 4D world would look like...

Before I start, just to put up some basics first...
a dot/point - 0 dimension
a line - 1 dimension
a square - 2 dimension
a cube - 3 dimension

So let's discuss using the ideas from the book to discuss the 4th dimension:

1) If a dot have 1 point, a line has 2 terminal points, a square has 4 points, a cube has 8 points, it follows a arithmetic sequence of 2^x when x=0,1,2,3... Therefore, in the 4th dimension, it can be speculated that it has 2^4 = 16 points!!!

2) If a dot has no side, a line has 2 side (ie. The 2 terminal points), a square has 4 sides, and a cube has 6 sides… Then in the 4th dimension, it should have 8 sides!!!

3) Next, the ability to see through things. Imagine yourself looking at a square, you are able to see the “inside” of the square right??? However, if you are given a solid opaque cube, you cannot see what is inside don’t you. This means that being at 1 dimension higher, you will be able to see through things but you can’t if you and the object are of the same dimension. Does this mean that being the 4th dimension, I am able to see through walls? Cupboards? And probably clothes…… WOOO HOOOO!~!~
May end up looking at internal organs though…

4) How about this, imagine that a square piece of cheese as a 2 dimension object with “no” thickness, by stacking them up one by one, you will eventually get a cube. In short, putting things in 2 dimensions together will increase by 1 dimension?? Yah, right… Try stacking yourself up.

5) Being at 1 dimension higher means you are able to control or manipulate stuff at 1 dimension lower. Does that make you a Supreme being? Imagine there is this 2 dimension world and this little baby in 3 dimensions is playing around with the squares and such… Applying in our contacts, imagine something from the 4th dimension start playing punk…

6) We cannot imagine a dimension upward as we can only visualize up to our own dimension, so… until the stuff from the 4th dimension start popping out into our world, they will remain “invisible” to us. If time, is the 4th dimension, how can we imagine that it is in fact a “thing”?? We can only quantify it by the rotation of the planet… Maybe time travel may eventually be the gate into a whole new dimension…

Ok, I think I have crapped enough… This is getting too confusing… I don’t actually know what msg exactly I wanna bring across… Back to reality… I need to get prepared for school… Ciaoz~

Watched this show yesterday night, another jack neo's style of show, always targeting possible and real life social problems in Singapore, with a little bit of exaggeration of coz...

This time round, they touched on teenagers/ juvernile problems, parenting problems and marriage. Although such things are so common in Singapore TV dramas but somehow the use of different dialects just bring us closer to understanding the problems...

Not as funny as the usual kinda show (can hear alot of people sniffing at the end of the show), but I think there are good humor at the correct places... Imagine you were sobbing away and immediately they pump in a joke... YOU HAVE TO LAUGH IN TEARS!!
A funny and weird experience... Not a lot of shows can do that K...

Honestly, the show makes doubt me about going into the educational field and I am in fact kinda afraid of parenting!~ hahaha... I knw I knw... quote: SO LAME...

A show targeting at all most all ages... young children turning teens, teens, young parents watch it and learn... A show of national identity...

The I shade n shade using the mouse... really tough... so I gave up and just clone the eyes n the hair and ta da~ this one is my version... not nice i knw... but 2nd attempt with photoshop CG leh...

4) I decided to just shade it off with pencil hahaha.... this one is hand done but too lazy n tired to do the lips... so just cover it

Just came back from watching the show - alone
Hahaha, I spotted 2 other lonely souls watching the show and I think 1 of them was my choir senior, didn't call out to him though, so not really sure whether is it him...

Nice movie, love the music!~
It started off like no link with the whole plot... And alot like the show "a series of unfortunate events."

Wow, Queen Lucy is so kawaii lahz... I think she's the main lead of the whole show loh...
And I suspect there's something more than friendship between her and the human goat hybrid, kekeke...

Was expecting some legolas action from Queen Susan but nah... She only shot 2 arrows in the whole show... The 2nd shot was so funny.... Hhahaha...

It's also quite funny to see a human knighted by a talking lion...

BUT BUT I was really fascinated by the mystical creatures like the unicorn and griffins!!! Just love those griffins, Wowwwwwwww and the white unicorn should have wings loh... then King peter will looked damn cool flying around~

Hm... But why must wildboars and bulls always be the bad guys... The leopards and white tigers banging into each other was WOWOWOWOWOWOW~ should hav more of those kinda scenes!!!

Lastly, I think the human n horse hybrid is really convinent... really!! Run as fast as horse and can swing swords as he wishes without much effort to control the way his going...

I'm inspired to draw a fantasy comic! But that inspiration died down within 20mins... It's hell lot of work... Impossible...

I was on my way home on a mrt just now and I over heard a conversation which I tot it would be interesting to be jotted down...

It involved 3 girls and they started off with the topic: marriage... Nothing interesting but when I glance at them... They looked like sec 1, 2 only... And they eventually came to conclusion that by 21 years old, marriage is possible -_-" ( me - turning 22 and no gf in my life so far )

Then they suddenly turn to the topic regarding studies:

Ger1: I want a PhD
Ger2: Which kind?
Ger1: Medical
Ger2: I see... Why?
Ger3: Hiya, can always have more than one...

I am shocked... Sec sch nia already thinking about what PhD to pursue and 1 of them even say it's possible to get more than one...

Then the topic changed again... Which is what really shocked me... They started talking about primary school stuff, like EM1, 2, 3 etc and I thought they were just recalling their pri sch life... Then...

GerX: If I get into River valley high...

HUH? WTH?? They just finished PSLE and are just waiting for the results and school posting and they are talking about Medical PhD and marriage???

Let me draw out the normal education path:
PSLE -> Sec2 streaming -> O levels -> Promo -> A levels -> Degree -> Masters -> PhD

Well, I think it's really ok to be thinking 1 step ahead, but not 7 STEPS infront...

I dun mean that it is impossible but... Well, I think Hardwork + Talents + Luck will bring you there for sure...

Well well, the holiday week has passed... What to do... Manage to just revise a bit... ho guei bo rite... oh well, during the week, I got 2 observation but well, the first doesn't sound really appropriate to say here... In case I got caught for nothing... Hhahahaha

Anyway, this is something I realised today... While I was at tampines, I saw a female wearing Cheong-sam or what we call qi pao in chinese... You may think what's the BIG deal right?? Oh well, the big deal is that the female is malay... As this week is the Hari Raya week, they usually wear their traditional clothings... But she wore cheong-sam!~ Woow, ok the problem I wanna stress in not that she is wearing the cheong sam but I just realised chinese just dun wear their traditional clothings during CNY... Depleting chinese culture eh?? Just a thought loh... stress with tests and exams, relaxing here... kekeke

Damn whoever, understand!~?

Life has never be so UNFULFILLING!~ Nothing is getting better even until now.
Although last time in school, emotionally may not be satisfying enough (ie. no love life), there's always academical success to boost morale and keeps me going. And even when both are not doing well, there'll always be a bunch of friends to keep the whole group going and growing...

Even in army, I believe that it's much more fun, enjoyable and fulfilling than now... Laugh at me if you want...

None is happening presently...

1) love life - still as sucky... but nvm... that's not all in my life now...
2) Academically - an all time low in my entire life of studying...
3) Friends - Lots and lots of acquaintances but where is the bunch of people who can keep each other going and growing???

I miss JC...
I miss having a class...
I miss having friends and not acquaintaces who I dun even rember their names...
I miss having fun in class and not boring lectures and non-interactive tutorials...
I miss discussing about pretty gers during lecture with my buddy...
I miss giving code names to them so they will not find out...
I miss good old times...

I hate changes...
I hate the need to adapt...
I hate no interactions...

Why must change be the only constant and that if we dun adapt... we ain't going to survive??
Probably if I understand this then I will be enlightened...

Newly done!~ woow, finally finish all my characters in the "grown up" style of drawing... This one is actually done up by one of my friend but his style is more to the kawaii type... And so I decided to grow her up!~ SEXY rite?? that's serene~

Haiz... First upset in NUS... Organic chem test... Can dun put it as an online test?? coz i was like doing a personality test rather then taking it seriously... And I duno why cant really study for it... Maybe because it is open book... Haiz... And I only got 70% loh... And I am on the lower half of the percentile!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTHell...............

Yoz hello, haha... Too free liaoz... decided to feed my lappy a new wallpaper so came up with this, yayaya!~ Tifa!~ wooow wooow

Anyway, went for a run today since it was a super ultra slack day (considering the fact that I took an hour nap) Muahahahaha... It was shiok!!!! Especially when I was back and bathing in COLD water... long long time never bath in cold water liaoz... PGP is just too convinent... BO BIAN... No thoughts for the run... Too SHAGGED... Well, regarding my routine kind of life now... I am like having 3 different home... First and foremost of course is my PGP room which is undergoing a very difficult aromatic war ever since I bought in a aromatic gel from NTUC. Secondly... The science library aka freezer... Never go without your jacket and lastly... Where I really call home... Haiz...

What a day... Spent like 4 hours in science library liaoz... Skipped lunch today... kinda hungry now... shall pack and go have some snacks now...

Oh well, things are piling up and yet... You think I'll be scared? Oh ya rite.... Come'on... I want to be in the uncle's list!!!! Give me good grades!!!!!!!!!

WTH... I think I am getting no where liaoz... 4 hours of doing lab report and tutorial... All I am toking now are rubbish... which means you ppl are reading rubbish... which makes my blog a rubbish bin... which means... I AM ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY...

Hehehe... these are the pictures I did during the portrait lesson... Aint that impressive I know... Seems like I have no talent in going fine arts... Phew~ Luckily I chose Science... Anyway, drawing portrait sounds really chim n I am not confident in doing one... Hahaha, but at least I did learn the basics... Yay~ Next week will be the mouth and nose I guess...

Haiz... There was a misunderstanding... The sessions cost $50 for 2 weekends instead of that super worthy deal I talked about in the previous post... Oh~ what the hell, 'm half way through... Just dun feel like stopping... But if they say $75 then... Bye bye~ hahaha

Anyway, about 75% of the class are from bangaldesh... with only 4 chinese... They are really into art man... I dun understand what they were talking about... like charcoal, techniques, how many B pencil, what kind of paper to use etc etc... Honestly, I prefer my mechnical pencil with pilot 2B lead and double A A4 size paper... But no harm trying other medium mah...

After the session today, "booked" in to hostel at 1800hr. So early... hahaha... And I just came back from "China" after having my dinner there...
Try having dinner on a sunday evening at PGP and you'll know why...

Orientation was over for 1+mth already... Seems like I have actually adapted to this mugging world already... Time pass real fast... I couldn't even have the time to catch a breather... That means my room is very dirty and full of lizards and probably undergoing an aromatic chemical warfare too...

Thus I would like to apologise to 2 of my friends who came to my room yesterday... Hehehe, one actually helped me to sweep the floor when I fell subconciously asleep... So touched!! Hahaha.... Anyway, I think getting those spray type air fresherner ain't enough... Need those super powerful one to like counter the aromatic warfare in my room... It's going to ba a tough fight, gentlemen...!!!

What a day (night), waited for them to finish their PRU AGM which ended like @ 0130hr... I have to walked alone from PGP to the popular fongseng to find that they have not finish their AGM... My OLD phone dropped and losses the key pad number "6" loh... Luckily its the old phone... Phew~ Yet to see my new buddy!! Tonight will be the night!! So excited!!

Had the Nasi lemak which I always thought was good... But it was disappointing... And the price was... speechless... I think I prefer pratas for supper next time...

After playing daidee like from 4am to 5.30am... I gave up and concuss on the floor... Later back onto the bed... Muahahahhaha.... Until 10.30am... 5 HOURS OF INTERRRUPTED SLEEP... Hope thats enough to last me the whole workshop today...
After they left at 10.30am... I got up and decided to sweep and mop my room... Now it looks decently clean!~ :)

What a day... Hope the workshop later is going to be interesting... How to put it... I put in 3 precious weekends and $25 loh... Mid term break is approaching... Time to really catch up... I think I will stay at hostel for the week... Just dun feel like bringing 3 heavy textbooks home... NOT WORTH THE EFFORT!~

I heard I just got a new handphone!!! finally!! After 6 months already!!! Muahhaha, can't wait to go home and charge my new buddy!!!!

And finally... I'm attending a drawing workshop on portrait which I always wanted since secondary school. $25 for 6 sessions, 3 hours each but spans over 3 weekends. Good bargain right? Just that I have to burn like 3 weekends in a row... Hope this doesn't affect me academically... That means I have to double up to make sure I can go for the workshop whole heartedly!!!

It started off quite okay because I did exactly what I did last weekend... I went to cityhall Long John to have my breakfast set 1... It really feels good as it gives me the lazy saturday feeling... Then I head on to Raffles city to get vouchers for my friend's birthday (as usual...). Then something not good happened... Don't want to drill about it anymore... kekeke

Back at home, wanted to do tutorial and once again... I DUN KNOW HOW TO DO!! Damn, you just can't find any answers in the notes loh... GIve up, went to sleep... Zzzzz...

Then went to Noel's place for BBQ. Was really really very happy to see the bunch of SOCC guys after quite some time!!! What to do... They are the bunch of people who accompanied me through my toughest yet most meaningful time during my NS... You guys are awesome!!!!!

Then my line sergeant sent me a sms, it's been a few months since I last saw him, 'm really gald that we still keep in touch!! Life is so full of ups and downs... They are there to compensate each other... Life is GREAT!!!!

Hello everyone, 'm glad that the lousy day has passed... Thankz to those who asked me to relax... I think I'm pretty cool now... phew~

Anyway, Monday is a super long and tiring day for me, 'm glad that tml my day end at 10am... A lot of time for me to catch up my work and anime...

Remember the manga drawing competition I was talking about that time, well... This the work I sent in... she's called Kriserris... And the theme is Pirate...

Well, was quite disappointed with it... In the Open Catergory... It's like everyone also a winner... Everyone got a certificate of merit loh... So basically the open catergory is not a competition... Well, hopefully I can win something next year in the inter-vasity competiton?? hahah

Anyway, I think I'm running for nus anime club comm member (artist)... The interview is on monday - wednesday... And I have to bring down a port folio... So I think I will bring the whole green file aka College: TOUCH! book 1 down to show them. Not confident though.. So just try my luck!!!

Okay, now I'm into the second phase of adapting... That is, by looking back at the past and comparing it to the present... Now I have to find similarities in between them and get use to them... So I think by next week or the 3rd I will be fully blend into the mugging society... I'm coming...

Cruel!!! At least for now... First day of school and I have lessons from 8am in the morning till 7pm at night and with just 2 hours of break!!! Believe it or not... That will be my typical monday for the rest of the year...

Next... I know shit about what the lecturer is talking about... Everything seems so familiar yet I have no idea... I'm talking all those information that our dear JC tutors downloaded into us 3 years ago...

Asking for an immediate transfer of new information into my brain is just too greedy and I would like to go through the learning sessions because I enjoy it... So... How I wish that 3 years ago I was able to backup all my memories so that now I can reinstall everything back...

I can't believe I'm starting university with ZERO knowledge and 100% pollution in my brain...
For now... I can just hope my enviromentalists in my brain will do their job by getting rid of all those pollution... I need a bigger HDD, faster processor, larger RAM for my brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going through this down period again... The period of time which I uses it to adapt to new enviroment and stress level... I've gone through it many times and I think I need about 2 - 3 weeks... This is bad as exams is like 3 months away..... hurray!!!

As you can guess, the above is the female lead, a 3rd year high school student in SAILOR's SCHOOL UNIFORM.... WOOOWOOOHOOO~~~

Anyway back to serious stuff, it's a show that talks alot on dreams... Not those you make in your sleep... But those ambition and stuff like that. So, it actually trigger me to think about my future... Seriously, I can't picture myself doing research in labs in future now... To put in simply... It's just not my dream... I think I'm still searching??

As for now, I think I will probably go become a teacher/ lecturer in Japan in future. Why? Well, they have their high end technology gadgets there... Lots of anime and manga... Ichigo 100%!!

Well, putting it in a nice way, I'm doing research on various manga with themes like school romance, comedy, etc... These include I's, ichigo 100% and School Rumble.

Personally I liked I's 's ending... very touching, got that urge to drop a few tears... Next is school rumble... ultimate lameness, a very good comedy!!!

Lastly is ichigo 100%, on top are just a few pictures taken out from the series... Out of these 3 titles, the best art work I believe is ichigo 100%. The story is even better... Thus, this title actually gave me the ideas on how to continue CT...

However, just when I know which direction I'm bringing CT towards... School's starting soon... Oh what the... Anyway, I'll have to adapt to new places again... Especially my PGP room... I'm looking towards it... or not... ? I'm confused, haha...

Next is, I also found that having different main characters for each chapter is just not good... There is no story link... So I decided that I will sort of restart the whole story starting chapter 8 with a proper main character, who is ivan... So... Weird Dream

I had this dream days ago, a very weird one.

It started with me playing basketball with my signal platoon, but the venue seems to be my primary school basketball court!! (What the...) Okay, then a car just came crashing into the court and stopped. I opened the passenger seat door and found my secondary school HOD science on the driver seat. (Why? She never taught me before leh... ). Then she gave me an assignment. To my amazement, it requires me to call up all my officers in my unit for some information or something. (What got to do with my HOD science teacher??) Anyway, this is a very basic and frequent job as a BSO and I always have that dreadful feeling of doing something like this... (By now I think I was tossing around my bed already.). The scene changed and now I'm outside an office. (Doesn't resemble anywhere that I can think of...). That dreadful feeling became even stronger... I can even feel it in my dream!!! Then I suddenly remember... I have ORDed... And I woke up... (Phew...)

Moral of this dream: Use reality to fight back weird dream like this, anyway I was surprise that I can even think and change my dream like that, haha, so fun... Guess next time I'll try to bring in my 1 2 3 4 5 and have a happy ending?? Muahahahah

That's the time I sleep nowadays... No matter what time I went to bed... I will just toss around until that time and I'll fall asleep... What the sianz... No that I'm lacking any sleep now but... That tossing time just got nothing better to do and like just wasted it...

Remember this show? "Crying out in the center of the world"?? The show that make me cried for all the episodes? Heard from 933FM that the movie version is going to be aired in cinema... I'm not sure whether the movie version is better or not but heard the male and female actors won the best acting!!! So I assume it to be even better than the series!!!!!!!!!!!

Warning: Please remember to bring tissues along when going to watch!!

Sundays, Channel 8, 11pm, 24H Emergency Part3. Be sure to catch this one too!!!! I've watched part 1 and 2... They are superb!! I guess this 3rd part should be even better, 2 episodes and I think it's cool!! I'm inspired by this show pretty much... And I haven't given up hope on becoming a doctor yet... There's still 1 last route for me...

Initial D movie was not very impressive... The racing part ain't exciting enough... What a let down... The anime is better... I guess it lack those techno musics to bring out those adrenaline...
The coolest was Edison... And that Jap actress likes to wear SHORT skirts!!! Woohooo~~~ But I prefer those nameless girls along the racing routes... They looked better... Lucky I watched for $5 only... Hail Princess!!~~

I think it's been a long time that I have not update how's the progress of College: TOUCH!. Currently I'm finishing chapter 7, a cutting edge chapter of CT as it consists of many background and also the longest chapter so far. It's a story of Qiuyan and Yongwei... The wushu pair... And I personally think that this chapter have the best art work so far... muahahaha

Well, I also did a little search for theme songs for CT and I found 3 opening theme and 3 ending theme, all by Every Little Thing ELT... will put it in the blog once i host them...

Also, the deadline of the drawing competition is near... I wonder how my work fair among the rest... It's my first time participating in a manga drawing competition... some "serious" drawing I would say... So, stay tune until the result's out... If it's good then I'll put my final work up in my blog... If not... no point putting it up to disgrace myself right?? Haha...
